HOUR Magazine did a wonderful job capturing the importance of Kristine Bonds' mission. 

" Kristine Bonds may be known, in part, for her recognizable last name — her father, Bill Bonds, was a longtime anchor for WXYZ-TV in Detroit. But in the years to come, it’s possible that she may be associated with what is a central part of her campaign. Bonds’ stepson died from an opioid overdose, and she’s on a mission to stop the drug epidemic in Oakland County and across the country. "

Someone must have been pretty worried Bonds was running because credible people were sent to keep us off the ballot. Maybe because our impact is felt across America. FACT:  "She (Bonds)...met in January in Washington with representatives of House Speaker Paul Ryan and persuaded them to help get funding to address the opioid crisis".  - Allan Lengel, Deadline Detroit.

No sooner did this bump in the road get announced than my phone blew up with offers ranging from Senators tapping me for an Opioid Task Force to high level meetings in Washington to share my Marshall Plan - and help spend the budgeted billions.
